Fill out the Wyoming Notary Application/Renewal form and have the required oath notarized by another notary.

Mail or deliver your application, Certificate of Completion, and $60 filing fee to the Wyoming Secretary of State.

Receive Your Commission Certificate

Once approved, the Secretary of State emails your appointment letter and commission certificate directly to you.

Obtain a compliant Wyoming notary stamp and maintain a notary journal before performing notarial acts. Wyoming’s current application instructions say the form must be mailed or delivered as a hard copy with the $60 fee, and the Secretary of State notes that the new law does not require a notary bond.
